These are born of the process of reworking several digital photographs and/or scanned images, distorting them to such an extent that some bear no resemblance to the original. The final image is arrived at by selecting and layering these images. It is – more often than not – the product of intuition rather than intent. It’s in the fine-tuning that the work becomes more conscious.
